McLean Homes Northwest and Cheshire
This Is a true event of what happened when my wife and I decided that we loved the idea of moving into a new home. We had been looking for somewhere new for about three years but being the fussy person that I am everything had to be just right, well if your thinking of spending around £120,000 quid you want everying to be right, Christ thats six years bloody wages before the tax mans even thought about taking his cut and you've fed the wife, kids, paid the bills run the car been on holiday 120 grans a lot of doe to an hairy arsed fitter.
So the wife comes home, there builiding some new house,s soon at Amber Meadows in Chorley she tells me (OH yeh I reply) there McLeans so I,ve asked them to give us a ring when they are starting, (OK).

Mrs McLean (thats what we'll call the Sales Executive) phones letting us know that they are going to start there homes and she will be available in Mr Undervalues (estate agent office in Chorley).

Travel to Tyldsley Manchester to look at McLean show homes, very Impressed even the lounge is big enough to get our settee in (Yeh really like these the Canterbery Style takes my likeing ).

Visit Mrs McLean's at Mr Undervalues place (Yeh we like your houses can we have a look at the plan) already decided we are having one of these just gotta find the right plot now for the sunshine in the garden East West the best South facing garden, and what is included in the price, as there is a list of extra's, fire's cookers oven's etc are extra but she hasn't got an extra's list yet.(110 gran plus extra's).

Go back to Mrs McLean yeh we want one plot 56 let us know if it will be released.( do you want my £100 deposit) not yet. What we do now is Mr Undervalve comes and values your property and then we take it from there, ( I see but I don't really need to sell our house to buy as I am thinking of renting it out, so that should be better for you i would imagine).

Mrs McLean phones plot 56 Amber Meadows has been released ( what a coincidence ) the same day as our price comes through.

Visit the proposed building site looking at where our house is going to be. Call in to see Mrs McLean hand over our £100 resevation fee for plot 56 Amber Meadows, don't get a receipt as yet. Approximately when will the house be ready (Its going to be around August /September before the house will be built, another 6 months at least).

Mrs McLean Phones ( I've arranged an appointment with Duncan the mortgage advisor at Mr Undervalues office for friday is that ok ) yeh sure but the house isn't gonna be ready for at least 6 months and we Still may rent ours out, but 1.o clock is ok.

Go to see Duncan comes up with the same Mortgage as I found on the Internet by the Newcastle Building Society, but as a mortgage offer ususlly only lasts 6 months neither of us see the point in applying as it will be longer than that before the house is built.

Mr Undervalue phones asking to take pictures of our house to put it on the market (he's not even told me the price yet Colly at McLean's HQ did that, and I don;t even recall telling him that I was letting is Agency Advertise it or put it on the Market in fact I,ve never even spoke to Mr Undervalue, so I tell him if I want his services I will ask for them so sling your hook.( Looks as if Mrs McLeans running the show here even up to the point of choosing which agent sells my house, even though I still may rent it out).

Mrs McLean phones asking how we are going to market our house ( jeseus christ) told her that I was having R&R value it and also the HAX were coming tomorrow as I wasn;t happy with Mr Undevalues quote that had come via Colly at McLean's HQ in fact the wife has just phoned me R&R have been this morning and valued it at £54000 thats 6 gran up and would be waiting for the HAX's valuation before making any decision.( 6 grans 6 gran).

HAX Come to value our house £57000 if you have it on the market for 6 months there is a good chance you would get that price (9 gran now at this rate the bloody house will be worth a fortune come August / September).

Colly phones from McLean HQ how are we going to market our house as they had been in touch with R&R and the HAX and they had told them the respective price's. Youv;e got got the R&R price right love cause I told it to Mrs McLean but the HAX said £57000 not £53000 so some arseholes lying, and you had no right to get in touch with either R&R or HAX as that was between them and me, and as Iv'e told Mrs McLean I dont' need to sell our house to buy yours, and the bloody new house won't be ready for at least 6 months.

Mrs McLean left a message on answering machine that we where wasting time on the reservation.(Shit the bloody cow wasn't in Friday when I went to see her it costs bloody money to keep paying for parking tickets).

Mrs McLean phoned asking us to put our house on the market, told her if we put it on the market and it sold before ours was ready we would not be prepared to live in rented accomadation whilst waiting for there's to be built, so therefore we would loose a sale. So I thought it would be better to wait a while as its still 6 months to go. Also asked if she had got the exta's list yet and if the house would be freehold or leasehold, ( No Iv'e not been in the office and don't know respectively) and if I did put my house on the market it wouldn't be with Mr Undervalue. She asks if I would like my £100 reservation fee back, ( said no).

Got a letter off DG at McLeans HQ saying Mrs McLean had tried to get in touch with me unsucessfully and if I didn't contact DG by tomorrow 28 th February they would put plot 56 Amber Meadows back on the Market and return my £ 100 reservation fee.(F----- in Charming).
